I haven’t made a lot of rosaries. My focus has been more on Protestant (Anglican) prayer beads. But I love to make them when I have the chance. Recently, my sister-in-law asked me to make a rosary for a friend of hers. This is what I came up with. It is now one of my favorite designs!
The Our Father beads are made from bright, multi-colored Calsilicat beads, while the Ave Maria beads are made from vivid red wood beads. They are offset by blue and red seed beads. One of the best parts of this rosary is the silver Tierra Cast Talavera cross, and a matching Virgin Mary connector.
I love the idea of using these beads to praise God. They are so vibrant and hopeful and life-affirming. I am planning to recreate the design in Protestant (Anglican) prayer beads ASAP.
I love this rosary! Would you be able to make another for sale?
Diane –
Thanks so much! This is one of my favorite designs! I currently have this set available in the format of Protestant prayer beads. If you want it in a Catholic rosary, I would be happy to make it for you as long as I can get more of the beads. Let me know if you’re interested and I will place an order for the beads.
Peace,
Kristen
Hi Kristen,
I am very interested! Please email me the price. I live in California, zip code 94566. Would I be able to use PayPal to pay?
Diane
Diane –
I just sent you information about the rosary via email. Let me know if you don’t receive the message.
Peace,
Kristen
Hi Kristen,
I should have specified that I would like a Catholic 5-decade Rosary, like the one in the photo on your blog.
Thanks!
Diane
